ABOUT LES MAYERS
Les Mayers is an established contemporary artist and designer from Southern California. His art styles range from realistic to abstract impressionism and his techniques include traditional painting in various mediums, digital art, photography, and sculpture. Mayers presents his art on various innovative new types of substrait materials including: large digital screens and full-size outdoor billboards, Plexiglas, milled metal, tempered glass, ceramics, fabrics, leather, natural silk and various types of building materials.
Mayers' art explores human emotions and is recognized for the vibrant use of color, diverse subject matter, the graphic documentation of some of the extraordinary places Les has visited, exploring the beauty of nature, and the complexities of life in the 21st century. Les is also recognized for developing and pioneering innovative new concepts for the creation, production and display of contemporary art. As a young boy and throughout his formal education, Les studied art, photography, and sculpture with private tutors and at the University of Southern California, the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of Arizona, and the University of Hawaii. After his formal education, and prior to expanding his work in the field of art, Les spent over thirty years working in corporate management and marketing. He helped turn-around divisions of public corporations and privatly owned businesses in diverse industries, developed numerous new product and concept designs, created international marketing campaigns, and founded several of his own companies. Currently he is exploring and pioneering innovative new ways to create, produce, and display art and products, and his eclectic projects are helping define new ways for art to contribute to our society.

Les Mayers' art has been exhibited from coast to coast, throughout the United States in fine art galleries, museums, and private charitable events. Some of his innovative public art exhibits have been staged on full-sized digital outdoor billboards and large digital screens (as seen in this illustration of a Public art exhibit that took place in New York City's iconic Times Square).
Mayers' art originates primarily as either hand-drawn concept sketches or photographic images. Les incorporates various innovative techniques he developed when he creates his contemporary art, and continually explores and hones exciting new methods to display his art. His subject matter includes landscapes, seascapes, portraits, impressionistic studies of flowers and trees, urban landscapes, architecture, and abstract studies.

Mayers' ongoing explorations of the latest advances in digital technology enable him to pioneer advanced new types of media and progressive ways to expand the presentation his work. By incorporating and adapting new technologies, Les has developed updated versions of traditional wall art, various categories of consumer products (for the fashion, gift, and home deco markets), and innovative commercial products designed for the interior and exterior architectural materials markets.

Art presentations on natural-fiber silk and other types of fabric materials, led to Mayers' involvement with international fashion and fashion accessory manufacturers, as well as manufacturers of other types of consumer and commercial products.
His experiences developing presentations for full-sized digital outdoor billboards, large digital screens, and experiences with progressive morphing color imagery, aided in the development of his innovative new presentation concepts such as the MAYERS | CONTEMPORARY art museum and other new interactive immersive art experiences.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
As I observe almost anything of interest, from ordinary objects and people, to the extraordinary places I've been fortunate enough to have visited, creating artistic reflections of my observations allows me to document and share some of my life-experiences with others.
My primary goals in creating art, are to provide a meaningful contribution to our society, evoke strong emotional responses from others, provide enjoyment and innovative forms of graphic entertainment, and to help redefine prior concepts regarding the roles that art can provide in helping advance our society.
